Breakfast: Quinoa and Prunes

Quinoa is a whole grain packed with fiber, protein and phosphorus. Start your day with a bowl of quinoa.

Prunes contain sorbitol, a chemical that is known to work as a laxative. Also rich in fiber, it will boost functioning detoxifying system. Add some prunes to the same bowl with quinoa.

Ingredients:

  • Chopped prunes – 1/3 cup
  • Quinoa – ½ cup
  • Grated ginger – 1 tsp
  • Flaxseed oil – 1 tbsp
  • Water –1/4 cup
  • Nutmeg – a pinch
  • Rice milk – ¼ cup
